Please join in celebrating the first exhibit of the year 2015 for the Nature Artists’ Guild of The Morton Arboretum with an artists’ reception on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 from 6 until 8 pm at the stately Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook, Illinois.
More than 35 artists will be participating in this exhibit of approximately 70 pieces of botanical and nature art, showcasing a wide range of styles and media. Visitors will be able to view the artwork between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm Mondays through Fridays, and 9 am and 1 pm on Saturdays, from January 13 through February 28, 2015. There is no charge for the exhibit.

I was surprised by the limited hours at Mayslake exhibit, but after a call there I learned that the people coming to the classes and one concert and one play, AFTER those hours, are allowed to, and encouraged to view the exhibit. Thank goodness!
