From the Autumn, 2014 Nature Artists’ Guild Featured Artist, Denise Fisk –
I attempt to paint this wonderful wildlife as lifelike as possible in both size and detail. When viewers comment that “it looks like you could reach out and touch it” or “I have seen these in my yard or neighborhood and never realized how beautiful they are up close”, I am pleased. Maybe they have gained an extra bit of appreciation for these “common”creatures that surround us every day and are becoming increasingly dependent on our protection of their habitat.
I am very honored to have been chosen by the Nature’s Artists Guild as their Featured Artist for the Autumn, 2014 Exhibit, and am grateful for the friendship and inspiration I have gained as a member.
