Artists Creating Art April 14 through 16, 2023

The Nature Artists’ Guild will feature five of its members creating wonderful artwork in their own unique styles during the hours of the Spring 2023 Nature Art Exhibit at The Morton Arboretum.

In addition to viewing over 200 pieces of nature art created by more than 50 Guild members, exhibit visitors will be able to watch, converse with, and ask questions as artists share their skills and discuss their artistic inspirations and techniques.

On Friday, April 14, from 7 to 9 pm, Cheryl Rausch will be sharing her skills in depicting the wonders of nature in digital art.

On Saturday, April 15, from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm, visitors will be able to view some of the techniques Dan Danielson uses in creating his bold watercolors.

On Saturday, April 15, from 1 to 3 pm, Joe Rizzo will be bringing alcohol inks to demonstrate their use in creating wonderfully abstract depictions of nature.

On Sunday, April 16, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, Lindsay Sandbothe will share the techniques she uses when working with acrylic on canvas to create her stunning bird paintings.

On Sunday, April 16, from 1 to 3 pm, multi-talented artist Kathy Steere will be using water-soluble crayons to add beautiful brilliance to various creations.
