Getting the Word Out!

Guild members converge at meetings  and pass along news. Unfortunately, the news on our members is not always timely. The position of Corresponding Secretary can change that, with your help. Please leave a comment if you know of any member who is recovering from illness, has had a bereavement or may just need an uplifting message! I will send out cards on behalf of our guild. It’s great to let people know that we, as a group, support all of our members. This is above and beyond our art endeavors! You can leave a comment on this blog or email Nancy Thyfault at nancypi5@yahoo.com.

He uses both traditional and digital techniques, preferring airbrushed acrylics on Bristol and Adobe Photoshop.  Todd will be demonstrating his digital techniques.  Check out his website at www.toddbuck.com.

The meeting will be at 7:00 pm in the Thornhill Auditorium  at the Thornhill Education Center in The Morton Arboretum. Guest are welcome.

Hosta named for Guild Member!

The American Hosta Society has named a new hosta The “Iris Frazier” in memorial of our guild member Iris Frazier, who passed away last year. The hosta is a sunny plant with yellow Quilted leaves surrounded by a rich green Border that darts in and out of the center. More information will be available in the fall Quarterly.
