The annual Spring Exhibition opens Friday, May 17th with a members-only artists’ reception from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The reception is open to Morton Arboretum members, Guild members and their invited guests.
The show is open to the public Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18 from noon to 5:00 p.m. at the Thornhill Education Center. In addition to the work of over 40 artists, there will be demonstrations and artist-made items will be for sale.
The show’s featured artist is Judy Leppert.
Todd Buck, a Medical and Scientific Illustrator will be the presenter for the October 4th meeting. He is an Assistant Professor of Illustration at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb.
He uses both traditional and digital techniques, preferring airbrushed acrylics on Bristol and Adobe Photoshop. Todd will be demonstrating his digital techniques. Check out his website at www.toddbuck.com.
The meeting will be at 7:00 pm in the Thornhill Auditorium at the Thornhill Education Center in The Morton Arboretum. Guest are welcome.
