Social Committee Member Position Description – Program Refreshments

The Nature Artists’ Guild is managed exclusively by volunteers. While there are basic duties required for each position, volunteers are also encouraged to suggest and implement (with agreement by the board) their own ideas. The Guild is always growing and changing and welcomes creativity from its leaders! Volunteers will be able to work with experienced committee members until they are comfortable working independently.

Social Committee Member – Program refreshments

Time Involvement

Typically averages fewer than 10 hours per year. Committee members are asked to serve for at least two events when possible.

Basic Required Duties

  • Arrange for the availability of snacks and drinks for at least two of the March, June, August, and October Guild programs held at The Morton Arboretum. Snacks can be purchased (with Guild reimbursement).
  • Set up snacks and drinks table at at least two of the March, June, August, and October Guild programs held at The Morton Arboretum from 7 to 9 pm. Coffee pots and utensils are stored at the Arboretum.
