Social Committee Member Position Description – Exhibit Refreshments

The Nature Artists’ Guild is managed exclusively by volunteers. While there are basic duties required for each position, volunteers are also encouraged to suggest and implement (with agreement by the board) their own ideas. The Guild is always growing and changing and welcomes creativity from its leaders! Volunteers will be able to work with experienced committee members until they are comfortable working independently.

Social Committee Member – Exhibit refreshments

Time Involvement

Typically averages fewer than 20 hours per year. Committee members are asked to serve for Friday evening receptions for the Spring and Autumn exhibits at The Morton Arboretum.

Basic Required Duties

• Arrange for and Set up refreshments for the Artists’ Receptions for the Spring and Autumn exhibits held at The Morton Arboretum, working with the Exhibit Co-Chairs and Arboretum staff.
