Nature Artists’ Guild’s Special Exhibit at Aurora Public Art this Summer

Alpine Glacial Melt, mixed fiber, copyright Patty Koenigsaecker will be included in this summer’s Nature Artists’ Guild’s exhibit at the gallery of the Aurora Public Art Commission.

The Nature Artists’ Guild is excited to announce a special exhibit this summer at the gallery of the Aurora Public Art Commission in Aurora, IL.

Art Inspired by the Earth: Nature Artists’ Guild of The Morton Arboretum will open on June 7, 2024 with a reception at the gallery during one of the city’s popular First Fridays celebrations, and continue through July 13.

Members of the Nature Artists’ Guild can learn more about participating in the exhibit here. This one is easy – there is no fee, and artists can choose pieces that have already been included in a former Guild exhibit (framing, titling, pricing, and labeling are already done!) or new pieces that will just need to go through a simple email approval process.

Registration is required by March 29, 2024, and Special Exhibits Co-Chair Cheryl Holz is accepting images of artwork by April 1 for possible use on exhibit postcards or social media.
